"Toast Sandwiches are widely available fast food in India. Toast Sandwich is a breakfast recipe and often served as evening or tea time snack. An easy and quick homemade snack recipe. A very healthy and nutritious food for kids as well. Learn how to make Bombay Masala toast at your home. <br /><br />Ingredients: <br />3 Boiled Potatoes and finely chopped <br />2 Onions cut lengthwise <br />1 Tomato deseeded and finely chopped <br />1/2 cup boiled green Peas <br />Coriander Leaves <br />1/2 lemon <br />Curry Leaves <br />1 tsp Ginger chilli Paste <br />1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds <br />1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder <br />1 tsp Sugar <br />Salt <br />Butter <br />Chaat Masala (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P92ZG4caoIA) <br />Coriander Mint Chutney (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Elo1u6oqwCQ) <br />Few slices of Bread <br />1 tbsp Oil <br /><br />Method: <br />- Heat a tbsp of oil in a frying pan <br />- Once the oil is hot add the mustard seeds and let it crackle <br />- Add curry leaves, half the portions of onion and cook it it its soft <br />- Add the tomatoes, ginger chilli paste, green peas and sauté it for a couple of minute <br />- Add chopped potatoes, salt, turmeric powder, sugar, lemon juice, coriander leaves and mix all the ingredients well and cook it it a little <br />- when the filling is ready, turn off the flame and let it cool <br />- Meanwhile apply coriander mint chutney on the bread and add onions as well and sprinkle some chaat masala on it <br />- Put the filling on the bread and close it with another bread <br />- Apply butter on both the sides of bread and put it in griller <br />- The toast Sandwich is ready to be served hot and crunchy
